And Still Here.....

Well here we are...still here. It looks like the end of the world rapture scenario predicted by Harold Camping is way off the mark. I'm not unhappy about that, just to be clear.

I don't subscribe to the notions of folks who think they can predict something like the end of the world. It's been tried by many so called experts like Camping before, and they have been wrong obviously.

Don't you think that if the end was really coming that there would be people among us that really knew? I'm talking about those in high political office, religious leaders and so forth. Not to mention those who are members of the secret groups featured here. Well that is if they really do have secrets or know things that we don't.

Perhaps they actually don't know, instead they just know what the Bible says, that no man shall know the time (of the end of the world)

Considering the devestating earthquakes, tornados and weather changes, coupled with wars and fighting in the Middle East etc, to think that they are signs of the coming apocolypse. However I think we also need to keep it in perspective. Reporting of these events has gotten a lot more intense in the past few years, mostly because of increased media, be that television, radio, internet, etc. We not only hear about a tornado in Oklahoma for instance, we see it in real time. Not only that, there are more people in some of these areas, resulting in more damage, more loss of life, and destruction of manmade things, like buildings, cars, trucks etc.

Weather events have been happening forever, we just hear more about them now. But that allows those who want to cash in on the news to make predictions they say are supported by the intense weather for example.

I have to believe that when and if the end really comes, we won't know until it does....and even then, will we believe it?
