2012

Sometimes I wonder if I am being 'prepared' for something, something that I wouldn't otherwise be ready for or able to comprehend. It's not just me that is being prepared either, it's you and you and everyone else. What I am talking about is the recent interest in books and movies that relate to secrets and secret societies and UFO's, people from other worlds, and perhaps the truth about life....if anyone really knows it.

It could just be me, but it seems that there is a renewed interest in esoteric subjects, like secret societies or mysterious societies such as the Masonic Lodge, and the Illuminati, and The Knights Templars through books and movies like The Da Vinci Code and the Dan Brown latest book, The Lost Symbol but even deeper than that.

I am thinking about things like these new movies about people coming from other planets to help the world. There are others too, recent movies  like Paranormal Activity and The Fourth Kind, the later being about  alien abduction, and of course, the upcoming movie starring John Cusack and Amanda Peet, capitalizing on the many theories and predictions for the year 2012 including a 'global cataclysm'. It is appropriately called, 2012  a year that has been talked about forever as some believe it to be the end of time based on the fact that the calender of an ancient people, the Mayans, ended in 2012.
