It sounds like Libya's president, Muammar Gaddafi, might be something of a conspiracy buff. Gaddafi gave a one-and-a-half hour address to the UN General Assembly in New York yesterday. In that speech he covered a lot of ground, but the one thing that caught my attention was when he started questioning the assassination of President John F Kennedy.
Gaddafi said, "The assassination of Kennedy in 1963 - we want to know, who killed him? Lee Harvey? Why was Harvey killed?"
Sounds like Gaddafi is questioning things in a similar manner to how we do it here at Mysterious Societies.
So what do you make of that? Was it just some rhetoric? Is Muammar Gaddafi trying to draw attention to things that have been covered up? In another part of his speech Gaddafi called for investigations into major wars starting with the Korean War and up to the invasion of Iraq.
Could be he is just a bit of a troublemaker, trying to stir things up, basking in the delight of having a chance to talk to the United Nations members.
Who knows......
