Was The Moon Landing Faked?

There is a school of thought out there that suggests the entire 'moon landing' from the 60's was staged, faked, made in a studio somewhere. This is based on things like the American Flag flying, and blowing in the wind, but on the moon, there is no wind....and other ideas, such as no moisture equals no footprints...so why do we see footprints and so on....


Of course following our motto, 'wherever there is fiction there is some truth' I have to wonder if there is any basis for these theories, which are really conspiracy theories to the max. The number of people who would have to have known about the fake would be quite large, very large, and with any large number of people, not everyone is good at keeping a secret, especially one of this magnitude. In addition, there is the idea of 'experts' several of these claims are based on information that is either unfounded or unqualified, in other words, the people claiming that it is fake, don't have all the facts, or have enough knowledge to accurately examine the photographs.

So, were the Apollo Moon Landing pictures faked? I think not, although, I wouldn't be that some were 'staged' in order to make better photos and tell the story. I'm talking about pictures of the astronauts climbing aboard the spaceship etc. These could have been taken at different times, and described as a different time. But is that faking, or just artistic licence?
