That one in particular was kind of creepy, in one sense, kind of skin tingling in another. A friend and I were walking to a fishing lake about two miles back into the woods, at a place that you had to get to by boat, before you started walking...yes, it was back in the wilderness.
Along the way, my buddy was in the lead, and I was following behind, I passed a man, who appeared rather suddenly on the path. I spoke to him and he nodded back, but kept on going, I remember feeling something strange about him, but didn't know why. He was dressed in old clothes, like a fisherman from the 20's or 30's, which I noticed, although didn't think too much about it for some reason. When I caught up to my buddy, and mentioned seeing the guy, he thought I was crazy. He hadn't seen anyone, and as he said, where would he have come from, given that ours was the only boat on the shore, and the guy was heading out of the woods. So who was he? I don't know, perhaps he was real, but looking back, I always wondered, and it still gives me that "tingle....."
So, if you ask me, my answer is yes, I believe in ghosts. So that's why I am anxiously waiting for the release of a new book by James Van Praagh, titled, Ghosts Among Us: Uncovering the Truth About the Other Side

The author, James Van Praagh is the New York Times bestselling author of Unfinished Business: What the Dead Can Teach Us About Life,
and Reaching to Heaven
Currently, Van Praagh is the co-executive producer of the primetime series Ghost Whisperer, the #1 CBS drama starring Jennifer Love Hewitt. I saw an interview with Van Praagh some time ago, and I have been interested in this book ever since. The author claims that he was aware of a dimension that most of us cannot see, and he has dedicated his life to explaining it to the rest of us. In this book, 51 year old Van Praagh brings to light one of the greatest mysteries, what happens to us after we die?
As a 'medium' Van Praagh claims he receives messages from spirits and feelings about their presence that provide "detailed evidential proof that a loved one survived death."
He has been involved in television for several years, including hosting his own daytime talk show in 2002, called, "Beyond with Van Praagh" On that show he gave readings to audience members. I have seen him in action, and it is quite impressive.
