Spy Network Uncovered

The news is Canadian Researchers have discovered a spy-network that has been working inside of some major computer systems worldwide! Including computers in the ministry of foreign affairs of Iran; the embassies of India, South Korea, Indonesia, Thailand, Taiwan, Portugal, Germany and Pakistan; the ASEAN Secretariat; the Asian Development Bank; news organizations and an unclassified computer located at NATO headquarters...and more.....

Currently 'intel' that's spy talk for 'intelligence' or 'information' points to China as the originator of the spy-network, but that is inconclusive at this point.

The network was discovered by a Canadian group called Information Warfare Monitor that is a combined effort of the SecDev Group in Ottawa and the Citizen Lab at the University of Toronto.

Apparently researchers uncovered the network in India, Europe and North America, and the private office of the Dalai Lama, the Tibetan government-in-exile and several Tibetan NGOs.

The investigation is continuing but so far in the investigation team has discovered insecure, web-based interfaces leading to four control servers. The interfaces allow attackers to send instructions to and receive data from compromised computers.

OK...and you think there is no "Illuminati" and the world is a safe place with nothing like this going on....yeah right....Lord knows who is behind this but imagine what could have happened, what may still happen if this information and ability is in the wrong hands, and these days, we can never be sure whose arms the 'wrong hands' are attached to....
