Yesterday, November 23rd, was the anniversary of the murder of United tates President, John F. Kennedy in Dallas Texas. You'll remember that JFK was killed as he rode in a motorcade in an open car with his wife and Texas Governor, John Connolly.
You'll also remember that he was allegedly killed by a fellow by the name of Lee Harvey Oswald, who on the surface, appeared to be just a crazy guy, acting alone, with some kind of a grudge against Kennedy, or a desire to be famous or something...we'll probably never know because he was killed by a member of, or known associate of the mafia shortly after he was arrested.
The Kennedy assasaination has been the source of conspiracy theories ever since it happened and why not, it is one of those things that is full of holes and misleading 'facts' and unexplainable occurances. There has also been a theory of more than one shooter in Dallas on that day which has never been proven or conclusively disproven.
Oswald, as I said, was on the surface a nobody, but when you go deeper, his past has lots of interesting history, which could have put him into contact with others who may have had a need to capitalize on him.
Many, if not hundreds of books have been written on the subject, and of course a few movies have been made as well, and almost all of them leave us wondering if there was more going on that day than we were left to believe.
Kennedy was a bit of a different kind of president, and there was lots going on between the Russians, Cuba and other communist entities. But there was also lots going on in the United States as well, and Kennedy seemed to be connected to, or at least known many mafia figures, and who knows who else. He was also doing some things that many others may not have been too happy with. In other words he may have been stepping on the toes of a good many people with big toes.
It's also interesting to remember that Oswald was killed by Jack Ruby, a Texas nightclub owner is how he is described, with links to the Mafia. Why would a Mafia guy decide to kill Oswald is one of the questions that I cannot fathom an answer for. It seems to me the only logical reason would be to shut him up, I cannot believe it was out of some kind of patriotism. No way.
This is a big one in terms of conspiracy theories, because, if it could be proven, it would certainly shed light on the fact that governments, and or powerful people do conspire to do bad things, and that there are people in this world capable of keeping a secret, like say, the Masons, or the Priory de Sion, or the Skull and Bones, or who knows how many others. To be clear, I am not saying that those groups were behind the killing, I have no idea. I am saying that if someone, or some people were, and it would take more than one, they have done a good job of keeping quiet.
That is one of the things about conspiracies, they require a good many people, 'in the know' to keep a secret for a long time. They need to be able to use 'smoke and mirrors' effectively, and never let the public know what really happened. This is the basis of any of the 'secret' organizations throughout the world. You know the ones that we all know exist on some level as some group, and often not really 'secret' but yet, no one knows what exactly they are doing.
If Kennedy was killed by members of his own government, and I would not be surprised to find out he was, the secret has probably died with them now as some 44 years later there are not too many left who would have been in the know at the time.
The list of potential reasons why the President of the United States at the time was killed is quite long, and includes impacts on very many powerful people. Many of the things on that list would be quite credible as well. The list of reasons why someone like Lee Harvey Oswald would have decided to assassinate JFK is quite short, and not nearly as credible.
