Masonic Symbol On The The Lost Tomb of Jesus

The connection and mystery that surrounds the Masonic Lodge and their connection to Jesus deepens. Those of you who are Masons or follow Masonic stories etc, know that they have some secrets, and some history, although it's not known for sure how much of their own actual history they really know or understand. However, it appears that the Masonic ideology, if I can call it that, has it's routes in Egypt and biblical times. Of course there are theories that even Jesus himself was a Mason, or a member of the organization that utimately became the Masonic Lodge.

That may be closer to being proven as we speak. I don't know how many of you managed to watch to Discovery Channel movie The Lost Tomb of Jesus directed by James Cameron of Titanic fame. If you did see it, did you pick up on the Masonic Symbol they showed several times throughout the show? It's amazing.

I saw it last night on one channel, not sure which one, and to be honest I am not sure if it was the actual show I watched, or a show about the making of the actual movie, The Lost Tomb of Jesus.

The show claims that scientists, or archeologists or whatever they are have discovered the tomb where Jesus and his family are buried. In particular they are indicating that one of the burial boxes or ossuaries contain the remains of Mary Magdalene.

Wow! This is fairly heavy stuff, and if it's to be believed it really has the potential to rock Christianity. Certainly throws a bit of a wrench into some of their teachings at least.

I apologize because I haven't had a lot of time to study this yet, but I will, this is the stuff that consumes me so much....

As I was watching the movie last night I almost fell off my chair. Apparently these ossuaries or burial boxes of the time were often engraved or marked, obstensibly by the builder of the box. OK, nothing unusual in that, but.....

The header over the entrance to the tomb that the discoverer's found was engraved with a rather unique symbol, one I recognized immediately as a Masonic symbol although I don't believe they made the connection, or if they did, either they didn't mention it, or I missed it as I was so dazed by what I was seeing. I am very surprised they didn't mention it, because anyone so involved in this type of research would be aware of the seeing eye symbol, I am sure of that. Perhaps they didn't mention it on purpose.

I can best describe the marking on the door as an inverted V with a dot or circle in the middle....I wish had the technical ability to show it here for you. However, I know that any of you that are Masons or interested in Masonic symbolism, or for that matter have seen the DaVinci Code or any of the other recent esoteric based movies know immediately that I am describing the Masonic All Seeing Eye !!

This is the symbol on the American dollar bill, the pyramid with the eye in the middle...acknowledged as a Masonic symbol.

Now here it is, turning up on a burial tomb suspected to hold or have held the remains of Jesus...amazing...almost makes me wonder if we are being hoaxed...if not, this is a link between Jesus and the Masonic Lodge. Of course it is very possible if not likely that the Masons adopted this symbol as there own at some later date in history.

This may be the most important discovery of all time as it pertains to modern religions and Christianity, however, it remains to be seen if the media will pick up on it or not, leaving it fall by the wayside would be a mistake in my opinion. Of course, there are many out there who would not want this information made public, and would be more than happy to see it slide by without much fanfare.

One of the difficulties of this kind of research is sorting the fact from fiction, the real from imagined. There are so many rumors and so many misleading stories it's almost impossible. I believe that a good deal of the time stories are "planted" to either let us know a little bit more, or throw investigators off the track. Perhaps this is one of those misleading things....time will tell.

I am not positive, but somewhere in the back of my mind I believe I read somewhere that the director of The Lost Tomb of Jesus, James Cameron, (Titanic) is a member of the Masonic Lodge. I don't know if that is true, but if it is that only increases the speculation I have about the origins and purpose of this movie.
